Who We Are
Cheer Up Missions started in 1998 in response to Hurri-cane Mitch devastating Central America. The team of 8 originally planned to spread “Good Cheer” through their performances in the many shelters set up to assist the homeless. However, God’s blessings were on their side, and many hospitals and doctors started donating medical aid and wheelchairs to complement their funny antics. Soon, 48 duffle bags of medical supplies “joined” the happy crew on their first trip. Things snowballed and during the next 3 years, 20 forty -foot containers of aid were sent along with the Cheer Up Team Performers.
